Recreation Ministry exists to develop and grow followers of Jesus through various avenues of recreation, group fitness, and family activities. Its overall goal is to strengthen, connect, and point the community locally, nationally, and globally towards Jesus Christ.

The Lakewood Ministry Center is a great place to host a birthday party, team practice, or event! You can do so by clicking on the Ministry Center Usage Request Form, fill it out, and someone from the Recreation Ministry staff will respond to your request. We look forward to helping you host your next event.
The Athletic Field/Pavilion will not be available from May 12th through August 4, 2025!
The Lakewood Athletic Field is a great place to host a birthday party, team practice, or event! Open to boys and girls Kindergarten – 5th grade.
Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M., there will be pickleball in the Ministry Center. We have 6 courts for play. Free to the public and open to all!

Want to see what you a couple buddies can do? Sign up for the Lakewood 3V3 Basketball Tournament at the Lakewood Baptist Ministry Center on Saturday, May 17, at 9:00 AM
This tournament is for Men 16 & up. This will be pool play into bracket style and should be done by 1:00 at the latest. There is a prize for the winners and everyone gets a t-shirt. It’s a great way carry on your March Madness energy and enjoy some fellowship with Lakewood folks and people from the community!
