Sundays

Join us for church on Sundays as we celebrate God through worship, scripture, and prayer. Everyone is welcome!

What are the Sunday morning service times?

We have two distinctly different Sunday morning worship environments every week. The sermon is the same in each, but the venue and music are different.

Traditional Style Worship Our 9:30 service takes place in the Chapel. We sing hymns in this service and enjoy hearing from our choir.

Contemporary Style Worship The 11:00 service takes place in our Worship Center. A combination of modern hymns and praise and worship music are led by our worship band.

What do I wear?

At Lakewood, you will find a variety of dress styles. There are many people who like to dress up, and there are many who like to be more casual in their dress. You will see nice suits all the way to jeans. So, we would encourage you to dress as you are used to in other churches or whatever makes you comfortable.

Students (6th - 12th Grade)

On Wednesday evenings throughout the school year, Lakewood Students gather from 6:15-7:45 PM for a worship experience with a live band (led by students and adults) and relevant teaching from God’s Word by one of our student ministry staff. After the message, students meet in small groups (by grade and gender) with adult leaders to discuss and apply the message they just heard.

Lodge doors open for all students at 5:30 PM to hang out with friends, play games, or eat in our Lodge Cafe. At 6:15 PM, middle school students will worship together in the Upper Lodge Auditorium while high school students will worship together in the Lower Lodge Auditorium. At 7:15 PM, students gather in small groups.
