We want to partner with parents to help raise-up a biblically-literate, fully devoted generation of believers in Jesus Christ.  It is our desire to reinforce the spiritual values taught in your home through sound biblical instruction, quality activities and meaningful relationships with other children and adults.

It is that time again! Let’s get your young adventurers signed up for KIDS COVE MUSIC AND DRAMA SUMMER CAMP 2020! This year’s musical, “The Lions, the Switch and the Warm Robes,” is not about a fantasy land reached through the wardrobe in a spare room, but ancient Babylon. The Biblical story comes to life with Daniel in a den of lions, the Hebrew boys in a fiery furnace (where their robes weren’t even scorched — just “warmed”!), and some mysterious handwriting on the wall. This is a chronicle of faith in the one true God who delivers, and points to the ultimate deliverer — Jesus Christ!  You won’t want your kids to miss out!

Parent-Child Dedication

Who: For parents desiring to commit to raising their children to know and love Jesus.

When:  Sunday, September 27th, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Where: Auditorium WC, Lakewood Baptist Church, 2235 Thompson Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA

Make Reservations by September 16th:  Carrie Hargrove at carriehargrove@lakewoodlife.org

Participation in one of our parent-child dedication services is an important way for us to support and encourage your efforts to lay a spiritual foundation in the life of your child. This service is not intended as an “infant baptism” at which salvation is claimed for a child. Instead, it is a time for parents to commit themselves to model and teach spiritual truth and values in the home. Each family who participates will be assigned a Lakewood couple or individual who will join them in praying for their child to accept and follow Jesus as his or her own personal savior. These special services are held in the fall, winter, and spring at 4:00 PM. A reception is hosted by the Kids Cove staff after the service for families and their guests. To participate, please contact Carrie Hargrove.
