We want to partner with parents to help raise-up a biblically-literate, fully devoted generation of believers in Jesus Christ.  It is our desire to reinforce the spiritual values taught in your home through sound biblical instruction, quality activities and meaningful relationships with other children and adults.

Weekday Preschool

Kids Cove Weekday is an extension of our preschool ministry to children and their families. We offer a half day program with two, three and five-day options available for children 12 months through four years (PreK):

  • 2 years – 2, 3 or 5 days

Vision

Special needs children, adults and their families are embraced and cared for through this important ministry. JOY stands for Jesus’ Opportunity for You.

As a parent of a child or adult with special needs, you have the option to mainstream or place your child in a self-contained classroom. Both environments allow our special needs children and adults to be loved and nurtured spiritually. God’s word will be presented based on each child’s specific cognitive needs.

Family Christmas Caroling

Family Christmas Caroling —  Begin your Christmas celebrations with this special family activity by visiting with some of our homebound and nursing home residents as we carol and share a little cheer with these special folks!  Invite your family and friends and make plans to join us on Friday, December 30.

Evening Schedule:

  • We will gather at 6:00pm in the fellowship hall and head out in teams.
  • After caroling,  we will return to the church for soup, grilled cheese sandwiches and Christmas cookies.  Soup and grilled cheese will be provided. Please bring a plate of Christmas cookies or sweets to share.

We need to know how many to plan for, so RSVP to Elizabeth by Wednesday, November 28, at 770-532-6307, ext 1018 or eormsbee@lakewoodlife.org.

Hey Kids. . . .to make the evening more special, consider making Christmas cards to bring and give to some of the folks you will meet.
