MIDDLE SCHOOL

6th - 8th Grade

Sundays

On Sunday mornings, Middle School students (6-8th grade) can join us for Fusion Groups from 9:30-10:30am in The Lodge (our 2-story student ministry facility on the back end of the church campus). These are small groups of students divided by grade and gender that meet with 1-2 adult leaders to help students connect deeper with God and each other. During the Bible study time on Sunday, we use the Foundation Series by YM360 and teach students truths from God’s Word through different topical series. Fusion Groups also meet together occasionally outside of this Sunday morning time just to do something fun or to serve together.

FUSION GATHERING GUIDELINES

Wednesdays

On Wednesday Nights, all students (6-12th grade) are invited to join us for Fusion (our mid-week worship experience) from 6:00-7:45 pm. Students are welcome to come anytime between 6-6:45pm to check-in, connect with friends and hangout in the area outside The Lodge for games (Spike ball, 9 Square in the Air, Corn Hole, etc.). The lower lodge lobby will be open for our Fusion Cafe, restrooms and limited seating. Following this time, we will have one, combined worship service inside the main worship center from 6:45-7:45pm.

PARENTS

Connecting and Supporting Parents of Students

Overview of Parent Ministry

We believe that parents are called to be the primary spiritual leaders for their kids (see Deuteronomy 6:1-9 and Ephesians 6:4). Our role in church is to come alongside parents and support you in this incredible responsibility by reinforcing the truths you are teaching in your home. In addition to what we do with students at Fusion and Fusion Groups, we support parents through training, resources and parent seminars to better equip you in your God-given role with your kids. Please be sure to contact us about being added to our Parent E-mail list to keep up with these opportunities and upcoming student ministry events.

WISDOM OF COMMUNITY

Parents of Teenagers Group

On Sunday mornings, Student Pastor (Jamie Willis) and his wife (Joy) lead a group specifically designed for parents of teenagers. This group meets from 9:30-10:45am in the Ministry Center/Gym (next to The Lodge) while students meet with their leaders in Fusion Groups. The vision of this group is to be a community of parents who support, encourage and equip one another to be the primary spiritual leaders for their kids. We spend time in different Bible studies and topics that relate to parenting during this life-stage. It’s a discussion-oriented format (not a lecture) and includes time to connect with other adults and pray for our kids. There’s also free coffee!
