Our Student Ministry exists to help students LIVE for God, LOVE the church and LEAD others to Christ.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

6th - 8th Grade

Sundays

On Sunday mornings, Middle School students (6-8th grade) can join us for Fusion Groups from 9:30-10:45am in The Lodge (our 2-story student ministry facility on the back end of the church campus). These are small groups of students divided by grade and gender that meet with 1-2 adult leaders to help students connect deeper with God and each other. During the Bible study time on Sunday, we use the LIVE Curriculum and teach students truths from God’s Word through different topical series. Fusion Groups also meet together occasionally outside of this Sunday morning time just to do something fun or to serve together.

PARENTS

Connecting and Supporting Parents of Students

Overview of Parent Ministry

We believe that parents are called to be the primary spiritual leaders for their kids (see Deuteronomy 6:1-9 and Ephesians 6:4). Our role in church is to come alongside parents and support you in this incredible responsibility by reinforcing the truths you are teaching in your home. In addition to what we do with students at Fusion and Fusion Groups, we support parents through training, resources and parent seminars to better equip you in your God-given role with your kids. Please be sure to contact us about being added to our Parent E-mail list to keep up with these opportunities and upcoming student ministry events.

Table Talk

As parents are the primary spiritual leaders for their kids, we want to set you up well to discuss spiritual truth in your home.  Click the link below to see a summary of what we’re learning in Fusion Groups on Sunday mornings along with a key verse and discussion questions.  We encourage you to use these downloadable discussion guides for a “Table Talk” or brief family devotion time with your teens.

Parents of Teenagers Group

On Sunday mornings, Student Pastor (Jamie Willis) and his wife (Joy) lead a group specifically designed for parents of teenagers. This group meets from 9:30-10:45am in the Ministry Center/Gym (next to The Lodge) while students meet with their leaders in Fusion Groups. The vision of this group is to be a community of parents who support, encourage and equip one another to be the primary spiritual leaders for their kids. We spend time in different Bible studies and topics that relate to parenting during this life-stage. It’s a discussion-oriented format (not a lecture) and includes time to connect with other adults and pray for our kids. There’s also free coffee!
