This basic intro to Lakewood is designed to help you discover who we are and where we are going as a church. Dr. Smiley leads this class where you will learn about our vision, core values, beliefs, and structure. At the end of class, you will be given the opportunity to complete the membership process. Men of Lakewood will gather the first Wednesday morning of each month in the Fellowship Hall at 6:15 AM to study God's Word.

Community Group in Gainesville for young adults out of college working that meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm a group member's house off Riverside Dr.

Community Group that meets weekly on Mondays at 6:30pm @ the Lodge. Join us for fellowship and group discussion.

For students who have just graduated and now are in college OR those who are out of school and in the working field.

Our senior adults are a group that love Christ, pray for one another, listen to the needs of others, love God's church, serve Him, and have fun and fellowship together.

At Lakewood our ministry to senior adults continues to grow and develop and has a bright future. Without the involvement of our senior adults in ministry, there would be many holes and large shoes to fill. Our senior adults are investing in the life and ministry of our church, everything from changing diapers in the nursery to visiting with the sick and home-bound. They are involved in missions, evangelism, and discipleship. They make unique contributions to our fellowship. As our population changes and there are more and more senior adults, our ministry will certainly look to grow and increase.

Our monthly meeting is held on the 4th Tuesday at 12:00 Noon in the Fellowship Hall. Each month we enjoy a covered dish meal and a wonderful and inspirational program.

Meets on Tuesday evenings at the Rochesters house from 6:30-8:30 PM.

Sunday Morning 8:15 a.m. Bible study. Age 60+. Meets in the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday Morning 11:00 a.m. group for any age and stage. This group meets in Room 113-114. Third Sunday each month set aside for serving somewhere in the church, so no class meetings those days.

This is a bilingual Sunday morning group that meets during the 9:30 hour in room 121.

Sunday morning group that meets at 9:30 a.m. in Room 133. Members of this group range in age from 30-45.

This is a multigenerational age and any stage of life group that dives into the Word of God following our weekly preaching schedule, as well as provide a weekly highlight of Lakewood's mission of making disciples locally, nationally, and globally. This group meets at 9:30 in Room 113-114.

Sunday Morning Bible study that meets at 9:30 a.m. in Room 128 B. The members of this group range in age from 20-25 years and are either nearly engaged/married or been married for less than 3 years.

Sunday Morning 9:30 a.m. group that meets in the Ministry Center. Members of this group are parents of middle and high school students.

Sunday Morning 8:15 a.m. group that meets in Room 208 Members of this group range in age from 50-65.

Sunday morning group - open to parents of older or grown children who are seeking opportunities to connect, learn and serve.

At DivorceCare, you will become part of a small support group of people who are also experiencing separation and divorce. You'll meet others who understand what you are feeling and who will be able to offer you encouragement. You'll also have a chance to talk about the information presented during the DivorceCare seminar.

What we believe, how we feel, act and behave all begin and end with how we think. Do you want to think, believe, and behave biblically? If so, join Scott for this 6-week study starting Jan. 14 at 6:15 in the Worship Center Lobby.

This ten-week study, written by Jen Wilkin, engages each person with personal Bible study of the Apostle John's letters to early believers. There are five daily lessons each week. When we gather on Tuesday, we will discuss what we have studied that week and then listen to in-depth teaching from Jen Wilken by video (between 35 and 45 minutes). God uses these seemingly unimportant women to accomplish His redemptive promise first proclaimed in Genesis 3:15 (the first Gospel). They probably had no idea their lives would be so important in God's plan for mankind.

So, what is God's purpose for you? He has one for each of us! We'll be challenged to consider that purpose which can change as we travel the journey God lays before us!
