Refuge

Refuge: Lakewood Women’s Gathering

Refuge is an event for Women to gather together for fellowship and worship.

“But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.”
Psalm 5:11

Join us for our spring Refuge. This will be a sweet night of worship and teaching as we hear from Connie Daniels share about who God is as El Shaddai: The All Sufficient One, God Almighty. Arrival begins at 6:30PM where you can fellowship over refreshments. Programming will begin at 7:00PM.

This Refuge we will support My Sister’s Place, a local non-profit ministry in our community. My Sister’s Place is a Christ-centered shelter that restores hope for single women and mothers with children who are experiencing homelessness. Their program helps to rebuild stability by providing a loving and welcoming environment, spiritual growth opportunities, community connections, and life-skills training to support the journey to housing independence.  You can help women and children in need by bringing any of the following items to drop off that evening at Refuge: New underwear, bras, paper towels, toilet paper, and laundry detergent. All sizes are welcome for women, children (underwear) and teens (bras and underwear).
