Participation in one of our parent-child dedication services is an important way for us to support and encourage your efforts to lay a spiritual foundation in the life of your child. This service is not intended as an “infant baptism” at which salvation is claimed for a child. Instead, it is a time for parents to commit themselves to model and teach spiritual truth and values in the home. Each family who participates will be assigned a Lakewood couple or individual who will join them in praying for their child to accept and follow Jesus as his or her own personal savior.
