Graduate Recognition Sunday
We, as your church family, want to join you in celebrating your upcoming graduation. Sunday, May 17, will be Graduate Recognition Sunday at Lakewood Baptist Church. We want to honor you and your family on that day and hope you will worship with us. Your graduate will be recognized as part of the services that day. CLICK HERE for Worship Service venues and times.
Following the Real Life service, there will be a special lunch for all grads and their families. The lunch will be complimentary for you, the Graduate. Family members who would like to attend must register by purchasing a ticket (see below). The deadline to register for the lunch and send in pictures for the slideshow is May 4.
We would also like to honor your graduate by including their photo in our Graduate Recognition booklet and slideshow. To upload your photos, please see below.
PHOTO INSTRUCTIONS
We need no more than 3 photos per graduate (see details below) for use in the Sunday morning bulletin and slideshow. Please click here to upload them directly to the folder. Please submit photos as soon as possible, but no later than Monday, May 4.
Photos to Submit: Please submit a baby photo, a childhood photo (Elementary age and up. Maybe a sports or a band photo, etc.), and/or a formal Senior/graduation photo (This will be used in the bulletin. Typically, a cap and gown photo or a professional-style portrait, similar to a yearbook photo)
Uploading Guidelines: Please use original photo files when possible (avoid screenshots, social media downloads, or photocopies). Label each photo with the graduate’s name and type of photo: (Example: 1. John – Baby, 2. John – Childhood, 3. John – Formal)
Note: If you prefer not to participate in the slideshow but would still like to be included in the bulletin, please upload only the formal photo.
