As it turns out, God being “holier than thou” is actually the best news in the world, and it’s the key to trusting Him.

Join us for this 8-week study of Colossians written by Ruth Chou Simons as she leads us through a practice of preaching gospel truth to ourselves by studying Paul’s example. In every changing season of life, we can rest in God’s character, rehearse our identity in Christ, respond in faith, and remember God’s provision for us. In today’s culture, there’s no shortage of self help, easy fixes, and worldly advice, but only the truth of God’s Word was meant to fill you up and satisfy you fully.
Our study time together will include 10 minute videos, group discussions, Scripture memorization, prayer and serving together as we encourage one another to walk in God’s truth.

What are God’s Covenants? Yes, there is more than one. Are they all important? To whom are they important – His chosen people (Israel), me, you, everyone and/or everything? Have they been fulfilled? Is Israel still in the picture? Has God forgotten them? Where does the church fit into all of this?
Depending on the translation, the word “covenant” is used over 290 times throughout the Bible. Covenant was in God’s heart from the very beginning of mankind. It was on His mind throughout the Old Testament and the New Testament – His entire Word – even in the book of Revelation; and because of His steadfast love for us, it’s still on His mind today. Shouldn’t it be on our minds too? Shouldn’t we know what it means for us and others? We must make it personal (how does it affect me, or has it?), so that we can share it with our neighbors!
Come explore this incredible thread of Covenant from Genesis to Revelation and discern for yourself precisely what the Bible teaches about each one by exploring their meanings in the context of Scripture.
