All middle and high school students are invited to United WKND 2026, a weekend event taking place February 27 through March 1, 2026, at Lakewood Baptist Church. This year, we are partnering with YM360’s Generate Conference to host the event, bringing together about a dozen youth groups from across North Georgia for worship, teaching, and community. Our speaker is Rechab Gray, and worship will be led by Landon Wolfe. Registration includes admission for 3 worship services, 3 small groups, a student book, a t-shirt, and 3 meals (pizza dinner on Friday, Chick-fil-A lunch on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday). The other meals throughout the weekend will take place in host homes.

THEME: We will focus on the theme of “The Way – Walking in Truth.” We are all on a journey. Some wander without direction. Some run toward success, comfort, or control. Others don’t even realize they’re moving. But every path leads somewhere, and every heart longs for the same things: truth, purpose, and life that lasts. From the very beginning, there has only been one true Way: Jesus Christ. He doesn’t just point to The Way—He is The Way. The life He offers isn’t about empty religion or performance; it’s about relationship. It’s not a path we trek on our own, but one He’s already walked for us and now walks with us. The Way is not easy. It’s narrow, countercultural, and often costly. But it leads to life, hope, and freedom. It’s a path marked by faith, obedience, and the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s a walk strengthened by community and anchored in truth. The Way of Jesus is not a momentary decision. It is a journey of becoming more like Jesus Christ by trusting Him step by step and choosing Him each day. The Way isn’t just for the strong or the spiritual—it’s for anyone willing to surrender and walk in truth. This is the journey we were made for.
