THEME: This year at United WKND, we will focus on the theme of IDENTITY. We live in a world that is confused about who we are and why we’re here but God’s Word has already made this clear.  I Peter 2:9-10 says: “You are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.” Since we can’t understand our identity apart from the identity of our Creator, we’ll begin in Session 1 by talking about WHO HE IS. From there, we’ll talk about WHO I AM as an individual created in the image of God in Session 2. We’ll wrap up by talking about WHO WE ARE as the people of God and how we live in light of this identity in Session 3.
