A warm welcome to all who enter the doors of Lakewood.
Looking for a place to serve at Lakewood to be a part of the body of Christ? Romans 12:4-5
Those serving in the Greeting Ministry get to greet people at the doors and welcome members and visitors alike.
What do you need to serve as a greeter?
A love for people and a friendly smile!
If you serve in the Greeting Ministry you can chose to serve where it is most convenient for you—from every other month to every Sunday.
Golf Cart Drivers
The Shuttle Ministry (or Golf Cart Drivers) transports members and visitors from their cars to the building and back to their cars after services.
Drivers serve one Sunday a month or every other month from 8am-12:15pm, as well as on special occasions.
Plus, Golf Cart Drivers are always a favorite with the kids!
Medical On-Call & Medical Desk
Medical Professionals (i.e. medical training required: doctors, nurses, EMTs, etc.) serve in this capacity, and they are equipped with a pager to be contacted just in case of an emergency.
Medical Desk Dispatcher
The dispatcher’s job is to man the Medical Desk, monitor the radio for possible medical issues, and page the Medical On-Call person.
Those serving in the Medical Ministry serve one Sunday a month:
Medical On-Call – 9am-12pm
Medical Desk – 8:45-10:30am or 10:30am-12:15pm
Those serving at the Information Desk share with others what is going on at Lakewood.

10:30-11:15am then 11:45am-12:15pm (Worship Center)
