Encouraging, Receiving, Managing and Dispersing Special Gifts
What is the Endowment Ministry?
The Lakewood Baptist Church Endowment Fund was established in March 1993 by visionary church leaders. Its purpose is to encourage, receive, manage and disperse special gifts. The Endowment Fund only uses its income, never its principle, to fund special projects. For example, recently the Endowment Fund benefitted one of our COR 3:6 Network partners that has an outreach to a multi-family housing project in Hall County. The income from the Endowment Fund is not used for normal operating budget items.
How can someone contribute to the Endowment Fund?
A Gift May Be Made to the Endowment Fund:
- By giving in person or online and specifying your gift be placed in the Endowment Fund.
- Through your will or life insurance policy, by naming “Lakewood Baptist Church of Gainesville, Georgia Endowment Fund” as a beneficiary.
- Through the creation of other estate planning agreements, which may be drawn up by an attorney.
