  Tiny StitchesWhat is Tiny Stitches, Inc.? Our Purpose is to provide basic layettes containing clothing and other items to disadvantaged new borns and preemies in North Georgia. We provide burial ensembles to any family who suffers the loss of an infant regardless of their financial status. We assist in the organization of groups dedicated to our same purposes in other locations in Georgia. Why do we do this? At Lakewood we realize that there are babies born in North Georgia who have absolutely nothing. Many of their mothers have had little or no pre-natal care due to the limited obstetric services available to them. How can you help? We welcome anyone who sews, knits, crochets OR who would like to learn these skills. We have members who are experienced in these areas to develop your skills. Our volunteers range in age from 12 to 93. Tiny Stitches meets every 3rd Saturday at 10:00a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Lakewood Baptist Church.
