Parent-Child Dedications

Participation in one of our parent-child dedication services is an important way for us to support and encourage your efforts to lay a spiritual foundation in the life of your child. This service is not intended as an “infant baptism” at which salvation is claimed for a child. Instead, it is a time for parents to commit themselves to model and teach spiritual truth and values in the home.

Each family who participates will be assigned a Lakewood couple or individual who will join them in praying for their child to accept and follow Jesus as his or her own personal savior.

These special services are held in the fall, winter, and spring at 4:00 PM. A reception is hosted by the Kids Cove staff after the service for families and their guests.
