Discover Lakewood is a series of four classes designed to help you discover your purpose and the life God created for you. Discover is made up of four steps:

Discover Membership – Connect to the Church
This basic intro to Lakewood is designed to help you discover who we are and where we are going as a church. Dr. Smiley leads this class where you will learn about our vision, core values, beliefs, and structure. At the end of class, you will be given the opportunity to complete the membership process. Discover Your Gifts
God created us to serve. Uncover your spiritual gifts and how you can use them for the kingdom of God. We will talk about your abilities and how they are different from spiritual gifts.

Discover Your Purpose
In this class, you will learn about your personality type and discover how that affects serving. God has given each of us unique passions and experiences. Discover how your personality, passions, and experiences uniquely equip you to serve.

Discover Your Team
Use your God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others. During this final step in Discover Lakewood, you will learn about the various ministries of Lakewood—from our Tech Team to Student Ministry to First Impressions. There are so many ways to serve at Lakewood. Discover your place!
