Linwood Friends began with iChurch and the questions “What if Lakewood could be a church that is known for meeting the needs of the world? A church where people were glad that they lived near? A church that people actually wanted in their community instead of being indifferent to it? A church of Irresistible Influence (Robert Lewis, The Church of Irresistible Influence)? Come and be a part of God’s amazing work at Linwood. Play, learn, love on, and engage with kids stuck in the cycles of poverty and destruction. Be a part of showing them another way to live. A way that has everything to do with the amazing abundance of Jesus Christ. Be intentional with kids in how to deal with their anger and use their manners. Help them learn and exemplify positive words and actions. Show them the love of Christ in a tangible way. Make a difference in a child’s life today! And every Sunday from 4:00—6:00pm.
