Who We Are

Lakewood is a regional church, committed to raising up fully devoted followers of Christ, who are trained and equipped to love and reach lost people, personally, locally and globally.

Where We've Been

On April 22, 1956, several Christian families stepped out on faith to establish Lakewood Baptist Church. This fellowship has grown from 175 members to more than 2500, filling three distinct worship venues and small groups on campus and off.

What We Value

Developing Believers
We grow to be like Christ by spending daily time with God and others.

Authentic Community
It is not good to be alone. We were created for community.

Life Stewardship
God has given us life as a gift. Stewardship of our time, talents, and treasures is our privilege and responsibility.

Genuine Worship
Genuine worship magnifies God and modifies the worshipper.

Personally Sharing Christ
We are not all evangelist, but we are all called to evangelize.
